Velocity² Specialties

In 2008 we introduced enhancements to the EMC Velocity² Partner Program to help our partners differentiate their solution offerings. A roadmap of progression for our partner community is a key commitment of the EMC Velocity² Program. In addition to the Velocity² partner tier progression, we've introduced an advanced level of partner specialties for EMC Velocity² Resellers (Signature and Premier Solution Partners) and Value-Added Distributor Partners.

These partners are required to choose one specialty area as a minimum requirement. Velocity² Signature Solution Partners are required to specialize in the consolidation specialty. Partners can also progress through the specialty model and acquire additional specialties to complement their business strategies and skill-sets.

The existing EMC Authorized Services Network (ASN) Partner program, enabling EMC partners to architect solutions and deliver implementation services, runs in partnership with the EMC Velocity² Partner Program. EMC Proven Professional Certifications are grouped around a set of hardware, software, and services related to each specialty.
